Return to Monkey Island, Ron Gilbert’s surprise and thrilling return, is a continuation of his legendary adventures game The Secret of Monkey Island (and Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge), which were made by Lucasfilm Games.

Guybrush Threepwood has been a longer time since he last fighting an intellectual war against LeChuck, his Zombies pirate foe. Guybrush’s true love, Elaine Marley, has focused her energy on being a leader, and Guybrush himself is on the run and unfulfilled, having never found what he believed to be the Secret of Monkey Island. The young, hip pirate leaders, led by Captain Madison, have removed the older guard. Melee Island is now in turmoil and Stan an entrepreneur who is well-known, has been sentenced to prison for “marketing-related infractions”.

Meet with old friends and make new ones on the familiar islands now under new, dangerous leadership. Then, take to the high seas and explore the unfamiliar and unexplored when you make your way through difficult situations. Amazing puzzles, mind-bending situations, and devastating ripostes are the only things standing between Guybrush and the glory of his work.
