Chapter 1: The Angel Girl?
In a strange eerie place, three adults and an eleven year old boy were fighting strange monster-like creatures. It looked like a heavy creature, the size of a small bear, with a row of spines reaching from the neck to the base of the tail. “Zak, be careful!” Drew yelled to her eleven year old son as he hit a Chupacabra back. “I’m fine Mom!” He shouted back to her. “Zak, see if you can get them to calm down!” Doc shouted as he punched one back. “Got it!” Zak shouted back as he held up his weapon, the Claw, and his eyes glowed a strange color as he held it in front of a Chupacabra. “Easy boy, easy. Just calm down and we can settle this nicely.”
The Chupacabra immediately took a few steps toward Zak, forcing the young boy back to the edge of the cliff. “Doyle, Mom, Dad! Help!” Zak shouted to his uncle and parents. “Zak!” Drew said worriedly as she fought off the Chupacabras. They all seemed to be held back as the Chupacabra hit Zak, forcing him off the cliff. “AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!” Zak screamed as he fell. He said, “I’m so doomed now!” His parents and uncle, witnessing the event, all screamed, “Zak!” They began to fight off the Chupacabras as fast as they can, but knew they wouldn’t make it in time.
Zak said, “This is it. I’m gonna die!” Suddenly, someone grabbed his wrist and he heard someone say, “Got cha!” He was now being pulled up onto a large wolf with wings. He sat behind a girl around his age. She smiled at him, her ice blue eyes sparkling as her long white hair that had ice blue streaks going through it, flew around gently. Zak said, “Who are you?” The girl smiled and said, “You’ll find out soon!” She was wearing a long sleeve off-shoulder white shirt with an ice blue tank top underneath, blue jean skirt, white fur-cuff boots, fingerless ice blue gloves, and a communicator watch was strapped onto her wrist.
Soon, five people, three adults and two kids, appeared to help Drew, Doc, and Doyle. The three seemed extremely surprised as the woman around Drew’s age smiled and said, “Don’t worry; we’re on your side.” She kicked the Chupacabra back and then they all began to fight. “My baby!” Drew said, running to the cliff to find her son. “He’s ok. Danni’s got him!” The woman called to her as a large gust of wind forced them back a little and Danni and Zak landed. Zak said, “That was awesome!!!!” Drew began to make a fuss over him. “Are you ok? Are you hurt anywhere?” She began to check on him and Danni giggled. “Mom, I’m OK! This girl saved me!” He said.
“The name’s Danni.” She said, smiling. “Well, thank you, Danni.” Drew said, smiling. The Chupacabras were now unconscious and the five people disappeared. Danni’s communicator beeped and she listened to it and said, “Well, gotta jet! See you around, Mr. and Mrs. Saturday, see ya Zak! Bye Doyle!” She shouted, jumping onto her wolf and flew off.
“Wait, how did she know us?” Doc asked. “Beats me.” Drew said. “I’ve got to get one of those!” Zak said excitedly. Doyle just said, “We don’t know them, but they helped us? And she saved Zak? What’s going on here?” “Well, whatever it is, she saved Zak’s life and helped us. We owe her one favor and if we ever see them again, we’ll have to know who they are. Let’s head back to the aircraft.” Doc said. Zak said, “Maybe she was an angel!” “Zak, don’t talk nonsense.” Doc said.
Zak sighed and said, “OK, OK….” They all boarded the ship as Zak thought about the girl, Danni. ‘She must be an angel…She just appeared from nowhere…’ Zak thought. ‘And she was…cute…’
